Corns
Doesn't anyone have a customer with corn complains? What would you suggest? I'm thinking Tea Tree but what is BEST? -Milagege

The most important consideration is getting rid of corns and calluses is eliminating the source of friction! Check those shoes!! Corns and calluses can be soaked in water to soften the tissue, then either shaved down with an instrument designed for that purpose or sanded down using a pumice stone. When I had severe calluses I used a pumice stone in the shower daily. Applying vitamin E topically helps to soften corns. Do this 3-4 x daily. If you don't have an aloe vera plant, NSP has Aloe already in a bottle for you, and this would also help to soften the tissue. As for the pain, try mixing some lavender and roman chamomile in the aloe to promote healing. -Nancy

The best thing to do is soak the foot in 1 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar and hot water, as hot you can stand it. Then use a foot emery board to file it down. This works great for softening the toenails too before clipping them, but be careful because you can really cut them too far down or file too much off the corn for the first time. -Claudia Caya |
