Dog - Arthritis
Our 14 year old 'puppy' has severe arthritis in her hips. She has a hard time getting around and falls easily on a non-carpeted surface. We've been giving her Glucosamine and Chondroitin, but it doesn't seem to be helping anymore.
Also, we just had a malignant melanoma removed from her abdomen.
Are there any products that would help alleviate her problems? Thanks. -Carole Rishel

MSM and Parsley is good. My golden retriever is 20, yes you heard right, but he is ready to die. He cannot walk at all now. I wait on him hand and foot. I have daily fights with my hubby over his deteriorating condition, and I know I will soon have to decide. He still has an awesome appetite, and loves our attention, doesn't seem to be in pain, but the strength in his back legs is gone. I don't know what to do I am so torn.
Anyway, for years I have give him EFA's, MSM, Parsley is a must, Blue Vervain for pain and Glucosamine and Chondroitin. You must cut the EFA's open and squirt in mouth.
They just can't walk on hard surfaces once they get so old, I noticed. -Dee

My lab had back leg arthritis so bad she whimpered when getting up. I started her on 3gms of MSM, and what a major difference. She could get up and move, not like she did as a puppy, but no more whimpering. I like the parsley idea too. MSM has no side effects up to 10 gms in humans, so it will not hurt the dog. -Leila North

I read a few testimonials about Noni for dysplasia/arthritis in dogs. Improves condition. Would also help immune system. -Kathy O

Noni is great for animals, it is the best for building their immune system, has anti-cancer properties and it has a strong affinity to the structural system as well. Combined with the EverFlex the dog should do very well. I'd give a tablespoon per day on the Noni. -Valerie Greguire |
