Dog - Fungal Infection

A friend has an 11 year old dog about 50 lbs, that has a fungal infection under his neck and down his chest. He has had many visits to a holistic vet, and nothing seems to help. I wondered if Yeast Fungal Detox and Bifidophilus would help. If so how much would you suggest.
Thanks. -Kathy

I would also look into Black Walnut (#1 for dogs) and Pau D-Arco. And yes, Bifidophilus would be good. Get the dog on a better diet too. -Mike Z

Have you looked at his diet? Also have you tried tea tree oil shampoos? It might also help to mix Tea Tree Oil with water in a spray bottle and spray the affected area daily. You may want to shave that area first ( if he still has hair there) to help it to penetrate the skin. -Marisa
