Facial Trigeminal Neuropathy
I have been experiencing facial numbness for the better part of a year now. In September a small lump appeared on my cheek next to my nose along with the continued numbness. The lump has now grown larger and there is redness on the skin. I have been to dentists, a neurologist, a chiropractor who does AK and am now seeing a ENT doctor. I have been treated with antibiotics last may to no improvement and I am presently on another antibiotic prescribed by the ENT. I have had a CAT scan and an MRI which showed nothing. I have been taking many herbal meds through this time. they are MSM, COQ10, B-Complex with extra B-12, Bayberry liquid and Bayberry powder snuffed up the nose, a topical capsicum gel, NSP Black Ointment, hot compresses 4 times a day, Sanicle extract, Kelp, Zinc and I am presently applying Tea Tree Oil on the skin.
I am diagnosing myself with a sebaceous cyst since my condition fits the text book description. Any suggestions would be appreciated. -Peggy Falco |
