Baby - Aspirin
What is the reason drs keep prescribing baby aspirin to grownups? I just don't get it. What is it supposed to do? And what do we have in the NSP line that does what baby aspirin would do? -Carol Matz

Mild blood thinning action to prevent clots (strokes). A capsule of white willow bark a day would do the same thing. -Sharon Grimes

Oh Sharon, This is too funny! My husband participated in a marathon run at Disney World a few years ago to support research to "end strokes," and taking a baby aspirin is all they've come up with all their research money? Oh puh - leeze! -Carol Matz

The reason for Rxing the baby aspirin is that some women produce antibodies that lead to blood clots forming in the placenta. While this is not harmful to mom, it sure is to baby. If the placenta becomes too compromised due to low blood flow a miscarriage will happen. As natural alternatives try garlic and vitamin E. -Judith Cobb |
