Sunburn
My son gt a bad sunburn yesterday. I wondering if there was anything I could put in his bath water or any type of lotion I could rub on? We already tried sunburn relief stuff from the grocery store, but he says it still really burns. Thanks in advance. -Heidi

MSM/Glucosamine Cream is about the best thing I have found for Sunburn. Lavender oil is also good I've heard and is something to consider for the bath and for direct application. -Duane

Heidi, First of all put plain Apple Cider Vinegar on the sunburn, then I really like the Healing AC Cream. -Dorie

We always use Aloe Vera Gel. Smear it on generously and let it dry. The skin will feel tight when it dries. After that, put on our Botanical Benefits skin lotion. The next morning you won't believe how improved it is! -Liz

Make a spritz using three parts lavender and one part R. chamomile. It works wonders. Will take the fire out immediately and help heal the skin. A lady brought her daughter to me after she had a weekend of too much sunshine and was actually blistered. It was too hot and irritated to touch so we spritzed and the pain was gone right now! I would put at least 24 drops total of EO's in a 2 oz NSP spritz bottle. -Nancy |
