Thai-Go vs Xango

I have a client wanting to know which one is a better product. I know ours must be but theirs claims to have 85% mangosteen, where ours is roughly 35%. Let me know what you can about this. Thanks. -Lana Broeker

I did a side by side comparison of the 2 products to make my own handout, Thai-Go's ingredients alone far outweigh Xango's "fruit juice":

Thai-Go Ingredients: Mangosteen Fruit & Pericarp Extract Concentrate(Garcinia mangostana) Concord Grape Fruit Concentrate(Vitis labrusca) Red Grape Fruit Concentrate(Vitis vinifera) Blueberry Fruit Concentrate(Vaccinium corymbosum) Red Raspberry Fruit Concentrate(Rubus idaeus) Red Grapeskin Extract(Vitis vinifera) Barbary Wolfberry Lycium Fruit Extract (Lycium barbarum) Sea Buckthorn Fruit Extract(Hippophae rhamnoides) Red Grapeseed Extract(Vitis vinifera) Green Tea Leaves Extract(Camellia sinensis) Apple Fruit Extract(Malus domestica) Other Ingredients: Water.

Xango Reconstituted garcinia mangostana juice from whole fruit, apple juice concentrate, pear juice concentrate, grape juice concentrate, pear puree, blueberry juice concentrate, raspberry juice concentrate, strawberry juice concentrate, cranberry juice concentrate, cherry juice concentrate, Other ingredients: citric acid, natural flavor, pectin, xanthan gum, sodium benzoate.

PLEASE NOTE "Other ingredients"

Thai-Go has water but Xango has. . . .

Citric acid – flavoring for beverages, used as an adjuster of acid-alkalinity in juices, employed as a preservative and foam inhibitor. Natural flavor – added natural flavoring? Pectin – used as stabilizer, thickener and bonding agent. Used in foods as "cementing agent." Used in anti-diarrheal medication. Xanthan gum – gum produced by pure culture fermentation of a carbohydrate with Xanthomonas campestris. Also called corn gum sugar. Used to thicken, suspend, emulsify, and stabilize water-based foods. Also used as a "pseudo plasticizer" to help them pour well. Sodium benzoate – used as preservative, used in ice for cooling fish, an antiseptic and preservative for eye creams and toothpastes. Once used medicinally for rheumatism and tonsillitis. No known toxicity for external use, moderately toxic by ingestion. * Reference: "A Consumers Dictionary of Food Additives" author, Ruth Winter, M.S.)

Thai-Go is superior and costs less ! -Kathleen

Ours has a MUCH higher xanthone content (6x or more) and NO preservatives, and that is what makes ours so much more effective. It also tastes so much better!!!! -Sharon Grimes
