Toenail - Fungus
There has got to be a cure for this out there. Anyone have any success with something?
The pressure of the fungus under the toe nail was giving him so much pain and as he was in the hospital it was wait for the Dr to check it out I just dumped some Lavender EO on the toe (for the pain) and when the nurse came in we mentioned the toe and pain to her and she got out her file and sorta dug around the fungus build up and it popped out -- instant relief. Lavender was on for about an hour. -Virginia

You may want to try Pau D' Arco (extract, lotion) or capsule. Pau D' Arco tea is also a try. This is a good Antifungal herb. Also maybe try soaking the toe in Colloidal Silver, as well as take internally. Bifidophilus - Flora Force would be good to increase the "friendly" bacteria. Oregon Grape, internally and topically is a good antibiotic/antiseptic. May consider Candida, if unable to get rid of easily. -Cory

I had an elderly client who used to come to me for pedicures. Her daughter told me, "Have fun cutting those toenails!" They were thick with fungus. She started using tea tree oil morning and night and come in once a month for a pedicure. I would scrape out the fungus that the tea tree had loosened, and each month it would get thinner. After about 1 year, they were like normal. Using the Pau D' Arco internally might speed up the works. Look at the shoe situation; might need changing. Does this person dry the feet carefully after bathing? I also agree that candida could be a culprit. -Nancy |
