I know about the Hydrangea Root and the other things for kidney stones but what is good for uric acid? -Thomas Smith

Use the Hydrangea and Marshmallow to get rid of the stones themselves.
For all types of stones, increasing urine flow to dilute the urine is vital. Pure water consumption up, NO coffee, alcoholic beverages, carbonated beverages. In fact, water with fresh lemon juice should be your beverage of choice. Magnesium + B-6 and Folic Acid along with B-Complex will help prevent the stones from forming. Safflower will also help decrease your uric acid.
Decrease purine intake -- ie, cutting down or OUT foods with high purine levels. Meats, organ meats, shellfish, yeast, herring, sardines, mackerel and anchovies. Even moderate proteins such as dried legumes, spinach asparagus, fish, poultry and mushrooms should be curtailed or eaten lightly or in moderation.
Alkalize your urine -- Sea Calcium.
