Skin - Thinning
My 46 year old husband's skin has become extremely thin in the last 2 years. If he brushes a wall or any rough surface it just rips away his skin and makes a bleeding sore. Of course they don't heal well, because if he touches the already damaged area on anything it reopens the skin. I don't think this is normal, unless you are 90 years old, perhaps. Has anyone encountered this and what can I do for it? Thanks. -Stormie

My upline had a problem similar in the anal area. Every time she went to the bathroom and tried to wipe she bled and her doctor told her it was that her skin was too thin. (She is older) Anyway I made a goats milk soap with a blend of Lavender and R. Chamomile. It is 3 parts Lavender to 1 part R. Chamomile and it has helped her immensely. Also, I understand that vitamin C should help here. I'll let someone else answer from the internal aspect. -Nancy

Stormie, I have started to take Colloidal Minerals. Initially, I started on them because I have low thyroid and adrenal fatigue (e.g. caused by stress) but noticed another plus was that my thinning skin has started to firm up. I haven't been on it too long but noticed a difference in a couple of weeks. I wish I would have started on them earlier--I had figured that my multi was giving me all the minerals I needed but I was wrong as my health made an even better improvement than I had already seen and I felt as if my body was saying "Ah, thank you!". Hope this helps. -Gina |
