Soap Making
I have someone in my downline that is considering to make aromatherapy soaps using NSP's Essential Oils. Is this possible and would you receive the same results? -Ray

Of course. You need one teaspoon of EO to one pound of soap recipe. The essential oils will not be as strong smelling as with synthetic fragrances but you will still get the benefits of the oil and be able to smell it when washing with the bar. To make the fragrance last longer use a fixative EO like say...Patchouli as a base note. Then add lavender, Ylang Ylang and Grapefruit. This is a beautiful combination and will make a stronger smelling soap. Geranium is another good fragrance and to this you can boost it with Bergamot. Happy soaping! -Suzanne

My manager goes to the craft store and gets soap molds. She also puts oat bran in it as an exfoliate. Another nice idea is to put a slice of a loufah sponge into the mold before you pour in the melted soap. Of course she uses the EO's too. -Eileen J |
