About three years ago I was diagnosed with Adult ADD and having Dysthymic Disorder. I was taking something for it, but I am not into taking medicine that can cause an addiction. I also lack in energy, this could be from the depression. It is so hard to get up in the morning and attend to the basic. I also have a 14 month old who gives me a run for my money. I did the clean start cleanse, but it just made me more tired. Can someone please tell me what I can do to come up out of this mode of depression, gain some energy and be able to concentrate on one thing at a time?
H-E-L-P
dysthymic d. [DSM-IV] a mood disorder characterized by depressed feeling (sad, blue, low), loss of interest or pleasure in one's usual activities, and by at least some of the following: altered appetite, disturbed sleep patterns, lack of energy, low self esteem, poor concentration or decision-making skills, and feelings of hopelessness. Symptoms have persisted for more than two years but are not severe enough to meet the criteria for major depressive disorder. _________________ Kim A. Muhammad
